2012 Volvo XC90: The best-selling vehicle in Volvo’s 80-year history, the XC90 is a midsize, seven-passenger crossover powered by a 240-horsepower, six-cylinder engine and six-speed automatic transmission. Also offered in Premier, Premier Plus and Platinum trim levels, the XC90 features front fog lamps, heated mirrors, power moonroof, leather seats and automatic dual-zone climate control. Options include headlight washers, rain-sensing windshield wipers, bi-xenon headlights with swiveling lenses, heated front seats, dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system and nav system with real-time traffic. Safety features include Roll Stability Control, side-impact and side-curtain airbags, antilock brakes with emergency braking assist, electronic stability and traction control and optional blind-spot warning system.

2013 Volvo XC90: Volvo has released photos and a few details on the re-styled XC90, which is expected to arrive later in 2012. Outside are new daytime running lights, silver metallic bumper bar and roof rails, color-coordinated lower door moldings, new taillights, LED brake lights, silver turn indicator bulbs – which glow orange when activated – and new six-spoke, 18-inch wheels. A three-spoke steering wheel, aluminum trim and instruments with watch-dial styling and white lighting grace the interior. An R-Design model adds more sporting intentions to the XC90 with chassis enhancements, redesigned upholstery, inlays, door panels and model-specific 19-inch wheels. Finally, Volvo’s On Call system adds Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity and Bluetooth audio streaming. Volvo is the only automaker to offer Bluetooth audio in all models.
